"Beautiful hotel. Old education building transformed into a magnificent CBD hotel. Lovely, attentive staff. Comfy beds, spacious room. Good location within walking distance to Opera House. But, if your room is in the inner circle, you have no view except into rooms across the way and vice versa. So drapes have to be closed 24-7, creating a dark atmosphere. "

"Great room and it was clean and tidy but for $380 a night, it would have been good to have an air conditioner that worked. It was just blowing air so made the stay uncomfortable to sleep. "We enjoyed our stay in the penthouse suite at Veriu Broadway. It was great having the patio to sit and enjoy our coffee in the morning. Close to shops and grocery stores so we were able to get groceries and have some meals in our suite. We had a car for a couple days and were pleased to find some free street parking a couple blocks away on Glebe st and avoided paying the high parking fee. The carpet in our suite and the walls were a bit worn but we definitely enjoyed our stay. "

"Staff from at Gowings were incredible. There was a stand out though, I think his name was Jackson. Very knowledgeable, great humour and made us feel at home. Our only issues were with the room. Our towels were stained, the fridge had a strong odour and also had an open carton of milk in there. "

"The staff were fantastic, efficient, attentive and helpful. The suite was comfortable, spacious and luminous. Nevertheless, the room needed a bit details in the dusty cleaning department, for ex the nightstand and lamp´s bases were dusty. Also if this is a 5 star hotel, where´s the SPA? It needed a SPA. Besides that, the hotel is in the perfect location to move around Sydney easily. When I am back in Sydney I will stay here again for sure. Five starts to the Reception´s staff. "

"Great hotel. Perfect location. Beautiful design. Very friendly service. My room Was awesome, 1 bedroom apartment. Very spacious and seperate living space. Amenities were spot on. Wash h machine, dryer, coffee machine, dishwasher, iron etc. great for a longer stay. The only negative was the size of the gym, very small. So hard with anymore that 2 people if you want to do weights etc. other than that can’t fault it. Thanks "
