"We had 5 nights at Alanta Villa, and by day two we knew we hadn’t booked long enough. The villas are peaceful, well appointed, comfortable, and very private. "Very warm welcome and staff were always friendly, polite and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Quiet location, within easy walking distance to bars, restaurants and the beach. Rooms were very big and comfortable with large balcony overlooking the pool. "It’s a lovely place and well maintained in a great location . The concrete rooms will divide opinion . Loved them at first but to be honest felt a little like a prison by the end of the stay being nothing but grey concrete . Quite expensive versus other properties but still a lovely place "

"This hotel had bedbugs. We had a reservation in the 3br suite and around 11pm discovered there were bedbugs infested in all 3 rooms. I struggled with posting this review because all of the the staff are so nice but I see the room is available for reservation again and it was a total nightmare to discover this and deal with sanitizing our things and finding a new place to stay in the middle of the night. "We loved our stay at the Moonlight Bay. The hotel is newly renovated, and the room was beautiful. The whole property was very well kept with nice private beaches and pool area. "Amazing stay for our first long haul family holiday. Rawi Warin was brilliant - the room was stunning and very comfortable and the facilities throughout the hotel are all brilliant - amazing breakfast buffet, 2 great pools in the main area, pool bar and restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the resort were amazing and our 2 year old loved it. We would not hesitate to book again."

"We had a bungalow facing the water. There is a pathway between the hotel and the beach, but the view is still nice. There are shops and restaurants on the beach a few minutes walk away. We rented a scooter at the hotel in good condition. And travelled around the island. Fun times. I like this location in comparison to the south or north of the island. I found Salam Dan not to be in the same standard. Recommend staying in this area. "
