"Staff were very friendly. On arrival we were shown to our room which was clean warm and comfortable. Stayed two nights as was due to visit Highclere Castle the following day. "Nearly could have made it to my best hotel stay yet. Beautiful hotel, a vibrant welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and helpful service at reception and in the sports bar. Less so at the gym. Room was spacious and comfortable temperature, nicely decorated. I was only able to use the gym due to restricted access for the times I was there but the gym was huge with a great variety of equipment. Food was delicious. Overall highly rate and recommend. Would stay again. "

Its very friendly staff, beautifully decorated room (we stayed in a garden room), comfy bed, large modern bathroom with a huge walk in shower, efficient heating, possibility to open a window, comfortable lounge with Sunday papers, small bar and a good restaurant. I also appreciated the free parking at the back of the hotel with easy access to rooms and reception. My only complaint would be that breakfast, especially at weekends ends way...
