"Great hotel. There is a sewage smell that pervades the bathrooms - our room was particularly bad. On the other hand, the staff were fabulous and moved us immediately to a room with less obvious smell. Something is amiss with the drainage systems and it should be looked at. "My daughter and I had a luscious three days at the Fairmont Tazi Palace. The staff were incredibly kind and gentile and the service was extraordinary. We particularly enjoyed the spa, the breakfast, and the pottery classes. But all of the little details like flowers and cookies in the room, the kind gestures, made the whole experience memorable. This was a great way to end a 10 day excursion in Morocco before heading home."

"We just returned from our first trip to Tangier and stayed at this hotel. The check-in was easy, the room, adequate, and the concierge helped with airport transport. The grounds were lovely as was the morning breakfast. It was close to the Old Medina and there were always plenty of taxis around.
