The Space:
Enjoy an authentic Tahoe experience in comfort and style in this bright and open three-bedroom home. Nestled amongst the pine trees on a quiet street, this recently remodeled home has a great open layout for your entire group to relax together after a busy day. And with three bedrooms, and a mezzanine area, this home is perfect for a few small families to share. An added bonus to this cozy and stylish cabin is the fantastic location and amenities, such as the HOA beach access!

Enter the home into the main living level where you will be greeted by a space full of rustic cabin charm with high vaulted ceilings featuring exposed wood beams, bright windows overlooking the surrounding trees, and cabin decor adding to the cozy ambiance. Just off the front door, you will find the dining area with a dining table with seating for 6 next to soaring windows overlooking the trees. Connected to this space is the living room where you will find a comfortable leather couch, two lounge chairs, an oversized ottoman, and a rug warming up the space. Relax in this inviting room while you warm up by the wood-burning fireplace situated in a beautiful stone hearth, or have a movie night with a 50” TV with Roku in the room. Along the back of the living room is a wall of high windows, perfect for enjoying the views of falling snow during the winter months. Located along this wall are the patio doors where you could head out to the backyard and deck for year-round fun. In the summer, enjoy the private deck, where you can take in the tranquil surroundings as you relax on one of the patio chairs by the firepit or take a nap in the hammock. Or take dinner outdoors and prepare a meal for your group on the propane BBQ and dine at the outdoor table. This dynamic outdoor area will be a favorite hangout spot for your group!

Back inside, you will find the fully stocked kitchen tucked off the dining area. The layout of the kitchen makes efficient use of its space, with plenty of cabinets and counter space for your group to utilize. Enjoy preparing a meal in this charming kitchen with stainless steel appliances, updated cabinets and counters, and an above-the-sink window bringing in natural light to the space. Excellent stay
We had a great stay, thank you. Clear instructions, easy check in and check out. Plenty of space and we slept on a great mattress. We did not use the bikes but the beach chairs and toys were very helpful.

Awesome spot!
We stayed here for 5 nights - myself, my wife and two young boys (4 & 6). We loved our stay at the Rigi Chalet! It’s in a little neighborhood that is peaceful and quiet. You can walk about 5-10 mins down the road and have 2-3 great restaurants, a wonderful market and access to the HOA beach, which has a stony beachfront and a little park with a playground, volleyball court, and more. It was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed being positioned on the middle of the lake so we could easily access beaches/hikes north and south of us. The deck was awesome for hanging out on after the kids went to bed. Market lights, propane fire pit, comfy chairs. The best!. We hope to be back!

Great location, beautiful home. Our family had a fabulous time! It was well stocked and super clean. They have a kids kayak and a paddle board to use. Unfortunately only one out of the 3 bikes were in working condition.

Solid rental
Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, good living room set up. House was clean, instructions for everything were good. Only issue - tea kettle in the kitchen was super confusing to use & no manual. Also - would recommend to the property manager that you change out the bright white light bulbs -- the lighting in the house is really rough if you're sensitive to that kind of thing because a lot of the bulbs are the bright/blue light instead of warm lighting. Also, be aware that the shades in the living/dining area are sunshades -- they offer zero privacy at night. It's not like you're in the city, so maybe not that big a deal, but it's a bit odd.

Lovely home with lots of extras for families.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this property. It is well set up to provide everything a family would need as a home away from home. We used the bicycles and lock provided, the wagon and chairs to go to the beach, the beach towels and the fire table. Clearly whoever owns this place has stayed here. It was clean and well set up. Nice kitchen ware and comfortable beds and couch. The only things we would suggest are a sponge for the kitchen ( we ended up using paper towels) and a set of hex wrenches to adjust the bicycle seat ( we found a repair station along the bicycle trail for this). All in all had just about everything we needed. We had great weather so never even needed to use the games but there were plenty of these. If we had kids with us they would have loved the mini zip line and slack line in the back!

Great place to stay
The home looked just like the pictures. Clean, good shower and good beds. Loved that it was a short 10 min walk down to the private access beach. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I had to text the owner a question and had a quick response.

We felt right at home at this cozy property!
We loved our stay at this chalet in Tahoe City! The location was great! Close to the lake and minutes away from shops and restaurants in town as well as very close to Alpine and Palisades Tahoe! Lots and lots of snow during our stay and we were toasty warm in this house that strikes a perfect balance between rustic and upscale! Can’t wait to go back!

Chic, Cozy Summer Stay
From the initial ease of communicating with the property manager (texting makes it simple!), my family of 4 plus Grandpa had a GREAT stay! The kitchen had every amenity desired; the beds were comfy and clean; there was a fan for every bed (considering how hot it was that was really well-thought out!); super useful washer and dryer PLUS beach gear (wagon, chairs, toys). It was important that we could bike down to Sunnyside and beach and avoid traffic so this is a great place to go if you like to avoid crowds/parking. Very quiet, cute neighborhood to take walks in every night! Enjoyed dinner outside by the barbecue! Hope to be back soon! Can’t say enough… it clearly was professionally decorated - cozy blankets on every chair!
