Words feel inadequate to describe the stay here, easily one of the most beautiful accomodation and dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment you arrive, you are transported into a tranquil haven, and are looked after by the beautifully kind family that treat you to this special experience. A time to be offline in nature, to rest, to enjoy exquisite food, and have the best sleep of your life. A spiritual experience. Highly, highly recommend.

This hotel was a sanctuary of calm with forest views from every window, excellent food, very friendly staff, and a minimalist aesthetic. Bathrooms were shared as it provided a traditional Japanese experience but as someone who would generally avoid a shared bathroom this was more part of the experience than a drawback. Rooms extremely clean, calming, and comfortable with own sink and toilet.

What an amazing and special place. This hotel is the best of East meets West. Japanese charm and service with Western comforms. The hotel is truly beautiful and it feels like you're staying in someone's home. The property is quiet and comfortable and we'll maintialed. Everything had been thought of here from the amenities to the curated music. I almost didn't book this hotel because of the shared showers but don't let this stop you! Each room has a private sink and toilet and comfortable western beds. Think of the showers as your own private onsen. There are two private shower rooms. Each with a changing room and shower room. The shower room has two showers and a beautiful wooden hot tub. It is clean and comfortable and a very enjoyable experience. The food is AMAZING! we loved it so much we ate dinner there twice. The owners are lovely and the service is kind and genuine. The fact the hotel is 10 minutes from the city center is a bonus. It's in a beautiful and quiet area with great views of the mountains. The hotel has luxury vans and will shuttle you into the city as needed. Don't hesitate in booking here, this hotel will be the highlight of our 4 week stay in Japan.

Un séjour simplement parfait

Un séjour fantastique dans un endroit magnifique, décoré avec énormément de goût dans l’esprit wabi-sabi. Si vous cherchez le calme, la sérénité, la poésie, c’est ici qu’il faut venir. Les onsen sont parfaits avec de grandes fenêtres ouvertes sur la forêt. Mais surtout je veux souligner la gentillesse inouïe des hôtes qui ont été attentionnés, serviables, délicats, à chaque minute, et nous ont même fait découvrir un paradis naturel autour d’une rivière cachée dans la montagne. Un endroit que je recommande absolument à tout voyageur venant voir Takayama.

場所は駅から遠いものの送迎サービスがあって非常に助かりました。 しかも市内にて夕飯を食べていた場所から送迎。 なぜなら大雨だったから。 とっても静かなところでリフレッシュ出来ましたぁ大切な人が出来たら利用したいと思います。

너무 좋았어요. 모든 것이 완벽했던 숙소였습니다. 욕실과 화장실은 공용이지만 이용하는데 전혀 불편하지 않았습니다. 별도 추가한 저녁 코스 요리도 만족스러웠어요. 주차는 무료였습니다!

Everything including room, accomodation, a special dinner which is reserved and ordered in advance, pick-up service and the kind staff is all great !!!!! Plus, the breakfast is awesome, that is like a brunch in a fancy restaurant. Next time when I have another chance to visit Dakayama, I will definitely visit this wonderful hotel again.

印象難忘的隱世住宿

實在太棒了，這旅館是家族經營，如其他評價所說，雖然偏遠在樹林裡，外出不便，但本身旅館的晚餐早餐同樣非常好，最高的美味！內部裝潢有格調，十分舒適雅緻，而家族風呂非常舒適，廁所也很整潔。記得預約吃這裡的晚餐，5000円一位，但不會失望的。

숨겨진 보석같은 곳. 가성비 최고.

모든 시설이 너무 깔끔합니다. 방의 창문을 통해 바라보는 바깥 풍경도 아름답고 목욕탕과 화장실은 공용이지만 충분히 깨끗합니다. 버스정류장 픽업부터 다시 드랍까지 모든 분이 친절했고 (패밀리 비즈니스인 듯) 조식도 너무 높은 수준으로 좋았습니다. 별도로 예약할 수 있는 이탈리안 5코스 디너는 너무 훌륭해서 안드시면 손해입니다. 호텔은 메인에서 5분 정도 차로 이동하는 거리지만 그래서 더 좋았습니다. 주변 환경이 깨끗하고 조용합니다. 다시 그곳에 간다면 꼭 여기서 묶겠습니다.

さすが、オーベルジュですね！ 朝食のみいただきましたが、一緒に泊まった娘が夕食もおねがいすればよかったねとちょっぴり後悔。飛騨牛食べまくりの夕食でしたが、それでも後悔とのこと。 次回はかならず！

Det er et fantastisk familiedrevet hotel. Maden er helt fantastisk en god blanding af italiensk og japansk. Hotellet ligge lidt uden for centrum stille og roligt, det er ikke et problem, da du kan blive kørt og hentet i byen, når det passer dig. Der er toilet og bad på gangen, det fungere fint. Vi havde et rigtig godt ophold og ville altid vælge, at bo det igen. Familie / personalet er super søde og hjælpsomme.

The most beautiful and cosy place to stay. So clean with such attention to detail and service. We also ate dinner at the restaurant both nights of our stay and are so glad we did - two of the best meals of our lives!

Pick up service to & from the train station was such a relief. Beautiful, clean and quiet setting, wonderful dinner and berankest on site, super friendly staff who also speaks English for international guests, we loved our stay here and it definitely enhanced our visit to Takayama.

Es klingt übertrieben, aber es war tatsächlich das beste Hotel, in dem ich jemals war. Die Aufmerksamkeit der Gastgeber (familiengeführt) toppt selbst für japanische Verhältnisse alles. Warum man unbedingt Italienisch in Japan essen sollte? Weil der Koch 10 Jahre in Italien gelernt und die Perfektion auf die Spitze getrieben hat! Und wir haben schon in ein paar sehr guten Küchen gegessen. Selbst das verdammte Frühstück, war das Beste, das ich jemals hatte! :)
