"I cannot put into words how beautiful this resort is and how perfect our stay was thanks to the beautiful staff and service provided. We received the upmost 5 star service everywhere we went around the resort. We had two small mishaps, however they were rectified immediately and the staff went out of the way to ensure we were happy. The facilities are absolutely gorgeous, the lagoon pool is what makes this resort stand out from anywhere else. Highly recommend the pool access room. We had a beautiful stay and cannot wait to be back. We will be regular guests forever! "

"It was our wedding anniversary and The Sands specially decorated the bed and provided a sponge cake to help us celebrate. We stayed in a ground floor room with direct pool access and it was great for our two young boys. They were 3 other pools as well with the kids pool being a favourite. The resort has direct beach access and is an easy walk to the main stretch of Khao Lak with great dining options and local shopping. Breakfast had a wide selection which easily catered for our varied tastes. The staff were amazing and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed an amazing sunset on Christmas day and wished we could have stay longer. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather which was a bonus."

"We had a nice very stay and enjoyed many of the various entertainment and sports program options including yoga at the beach pavilion. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly. The location is great and the beach beautiful. We had the full board option. The hotel provided a good choice of various delicious food including healthy options. "

"The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We had a swim up room which was definitely worth upgrading too. Room was spacious and modern with one of the comfiest beds we has ever slept in. All the food and beverages we had were of good quality. However our only complaint is the price of food which can be 3 times as much as local restaurants. The staff were all so friendly and helpful nothing ever seemed too much. Would definitely return to this hotel. "
