"Absolutely loved our time at Basecamp. The location is perfect, at the edge of the Masai Mara, we heard the lions at night, while sleeping. The staff all of them, were so friendly and helpful from the front staff to the night guards. Camp on a river, so you see the animals come for water, open view to see them roaming across the river! "Moldy bed sheet, dirty light switches, broken bed net. Smelly bar area. When I reported the above issues, 3 groups of staff came and decided to offer me a bottle of free beer ( wine). I don’t drink beer ( wine). Then the manager knocked my room door twice to force me to accept it. I paid $NZ 1100 per room per night. This is the worst 5 star hotel I have ever experienced."
