"The Block House exceeded expectations. The staff was so friendly, it felt like staying at a dear friend’s house, a really nice house, like the house from Parasite. Every morning, the staff prepared a beautiful western breakfast and every afternoon, tea and cake. On our last day, we had to leave early and the staff prepared our breakfast ‘to go’ and placed it in our fridge. One of the best overnight experiences we’ve had due to the attentiveness of the service."

"My German family and I stayed in the family suite for a couple of days in November. The place is clean and quiet, and is conveniently located. It's just 3 minutes drive from the town center, where loads of local food and drinks are available. The hosts are friendly and very considerate. They gave us useful travel tips and even adjusted their breakfast menu to cater to our specific needs. "

"This is a B&B stay for traveler. Visitors must contact the day before to checkin. The front counter closes at 10 pm. We didn't look at the Expedia fine print so we arrived there at midnight and the hotel was closed. Luckily, the neighbor's vendors was relative of the hotel and contacted the owner and the owner came down to open the door for us. "

"Paid extra for a bigger room with windows. Instead, got a small, windowless room that looked nothing like any of the multitude of pictures provided. Called to request an explanation why and was told that it was the biggest room they had at the time. Then why did I have to pay extra to reserve such a room if it wasn't going to be available by the time I showed up? Bed frame was cracked, giving the mattress little support, and the frame creaked everytime you turn in bed. TV reception was buggy...
