"The stables cottage is a cute little house up on a lush green hill. We booked Tapitallee lodges for 10 nights and as every review says, it was excellent. We were greeted with fresh bread, cheese and crackers, some small pantry essentials and bacon and eggs ready to cook for the next morning. The property is a sanctuary of wildlife with the dam close by acting as a highway for all sorts for Australians native animals. We were very lucky to see multipuls of wombats, Kangaroos, wallabys, echidnas...

"Garden Hill Retreat is truly the hidden gem with magnificent and magical gardens and a wonderful well-appointed sandstone cottage with a wood-burning stove. The cottage is serene and sublime. It overlooks the beautiful veggie garden, rose garden, Mediterranean garden and lotus pond. There are wonderful features: croquet lawn, tennis courts and an indoor swimming pool to enjoy. "We loved our 2 nights in the hampden cottage. The kitchen and bathroom looked brand new and were well appointed. There was bubble bath for the lovely big bath, an abundance of large towels and wood for the open fire which gave a lovely ambience. The owners were great to communicate with too. We were sad to leave."

"The property is very peaceful with stunning views of the green pastures and majestic mountains. Situated on a dead end road, so no traffic or road noise. Lovely walks down the road in a rural area. The house is lovely, only complaint would be the lack of aircon or fan in the bedroom, so can get a bit hot in summer."
