"Perfect location for our trip of three friends as we spent time here in August. We hadn't planned to get in the water although it looks very inviting and we enjoyed watching others out on their boats. It's beautiful for sitting outside having coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Lots of birds to see. The nearby town of Moose Lake is easy access and had everything we needed. Great location for going up to Duluth for a day trip too. Highly recommend! "

"The house is just off the road but you'd never know it while you are there. This peaceful, cozy home is a perfect place to disconnect. Lots of space to spread out or gather together. Kitchen has plenty of pots/pans and a great stove/oven. Dollar general is a short drive or moderate walk away. I was glad to expierence this home as a cozy winter get away and would definitely pick this place first for summer fun."

"My family and I came up to stay at the lake for a long weekend. The property was great and the lake seems to be very nice as well. The weather wasn’t great for being on the water much, but we still really enjoyed the area. There were lots of bars and restaurants to enjoy and we found some great shopping in town."

"Beautiful property. I'm pretty sure the pictures were updated on the listing after we booked so we didn't know how good the dock was. Had I seen those pics I would have had a rental pontoon delivered to us which is readily available in the area. The 2nd bathroom is very strange as the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling and it is directly next to the kitchen. Did not feel private at all. Other than that, it was perfect and just what we needed for a weekend getaway. We would book it again...

"We stayed late October. The property was well maintained and settled in an area where the colors are gorgeous! Hosts are very thoughtful in their hospitality and absolutely responsive. The property is also quiet, our poodle loved being able to roam on our walks w/o fear of speeding traffic!"

"This cabin is the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend at the lake!! The cabin was large enough to accommodate our 10 person group with room to spare. Beautiful views of Sand Lake greet you around every corner. It’s cozy and very clean. Already recommending this place to friends and family "

"Our family of 5 (kids 10 months to 10 y.o.) had a great time! Added pontoon for added/improved swimming options and quiet lake tours to end our nights. Used provided fishing gear and the kids caught some nice sunnies, smallmouth and northern! Home was large and inviting. Plenty of space. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Plenty of extras so that I didn’t need to pack my entire kitchen. Lots of outside toys/floaties/bikes/kayak to keep us busy. Had fun on rainy day playing music via Bluetooth...
