We could feel the history of the house as soon as we entered the farm gate. Communication was outstanding and we had everything we needed for a very relaxing break away. "We stayed at the River Cabin at Tanwarra Lodge with the family. It's the perfect location to take in the natural beauty of the area, with the sound of the Turon River as the backdrop. Peter was a fantastic host, very accommodating. The property was exactly as advertised, warm and cosy for those chilly June nights. Highly recommended and we will be back for sure."

Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the serenity and of the accommodations to its fullest. i would love to go back and be able to enjoy the facilities that are provided. "Booked this Property for my 50th with a group of Friends. It was a bit of an adventure getting to the Property! Once we found it, the drive down to the house itself was an adventure! It was pouring Rain so that didn't help much, but the road is rough! Your definitely need a 4wd to get down the driveway. Once we arrived at the house though it was perfect! Fireplace which was great as it was cool,everything about the house was perfect. Bedrooms were very cosy. Lots of firewood for the house fire & the outside firepit. Nice veranda on which to sit and eat breakfast looking over the mountains. We went walking to the river. had a great meal outside watching the sun set on the mountains. It was a great stay!"
