At 4pm (the checking time), the room was not ready, I will be call when ready, if I wants a room available at that moment, I have to dowgrade from what I have pay. THEY WILL CALL ME WHEN ROOM READY, THAT NEVER HAPPENS, I finaly received my room3 hours later after checking time. The elevators was far away from cleaning, like others areas of the Hotel, at the room the hand soap container was empty, the parking charge is an additional $47 x night without tips, waiting time to pick up car 25 minutes more or less, the only positive thing that I can recall was the treatment received by a nice and effective waiter at the bar TASTE..Very overpriced Hotel.

Parking is a bit of a pain, but the property itself is a nice option if you need a place to stay downtown. Walkable to the Straz Center and Amalie Arena, as well as the convention center. Rooms are a bit outdated, but clean for the most part.

Beds very comfortable,pillows too. Room cleaned every day. BUT elevator filthy for OUR Whole Stay! Even after bringing the manager in the elevator it stayed that way! Dirty, actually gross,looked like blood! Pool area also dirty, garbage on the ground and used towels on chairs. Resort fee of $25 charged every day of your stay for cheese and crackers and beer/wine at 5pm whether you have it or not. The hotel is so outdated it’s actually sad when you venture across the street to the Marriott which is absolutely stunning, updated, clean and you feel so disappointed that you didn’t choose the Marriott after not being able to take a vacation for 2 years and you’re staying in a dirty outdated hotel. Oh,chairs in the lobby all stained,gross!

My first time at Tampa back on June was nothing to say all was wonderful from the top to the bottom that’s why we decided to stay here again but for ours surprise all was different make me to not comeback to this property never again . We found cockroaches at our room after we come back from diner I show the picture to the front desk they moved us to different room since them no one from the hotel get in contact with me about no even for a apologize or something definitely I will no recommend to anybody else to stay here

Park in public parking right across the street to avoid valet. They charge an additional $25 a day for no reason. During the hurricane it was unfortunate but it kept us safe so can’t complain I guess.
