Our family also did a day trip to Ohakune and Waiouru, which is a short drive from this place.The house has a fully equipped kitchen, and bedsheets and blankets are provided (although the booking confirmation mentioned we need to bring our own). However, instructions for cleaning/leaving were not given so there was some confusion about what we needed to do. We had noticed that there were some areas that had not been cleaned for a while, then met the person who came to change the beds and apparently that is all she does? So - clearer instructions please, we would have cleaned if we'd known we had to."
