Magnificent views from our 2 Bedroom well appointed, comfortable family home
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous family home, very well equipped with fantastic views. Northton beach and Ceapabhal hill are literally on your door step, as is Croft 36 a craft bakery who make amazing food. The location is also great for reaching Leverburgh approx 3 miles which has a brewery, restaurant (great food) deli and bottleshop. It’s located beside the Ferry for those who want to explore more of the outer Hebrides. A golf course and lots of other beaches and hill are nearby. Will definitely book to stay here again if the property is available. "
"We loved Macaulay cottage - it’s in a great location for visiting the many wonderful beaches and bays on Harris. The cottage has everything you need and the owners are really helpful. It was a great place to return to after a day out. Some of the well known walks (Scholars path and coffin trail) start from the cottage or nearby. We enjoyed kayaking with seals in the the bay by the cottage. "

Idyllically located bungalow, beautiful view 20 mls from Stornoway Isle of Lewis
10/10 Excellent
"The house overlooks Loch Erisort in a beautiful, quiet setting. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with a better equipped kitchen than is found in many rental properties. We found it a good location for visiting Stornoway, the west coast of Lewis, and Harris. The local area to the south and east is also worth exploring. We had a meal at the local hotel which was pleasant, but, we thought pretty expensive, so wouldn’t really recommend that. "
Beautifully renovated property in heart of Tarbert

"The property was excellent and exceeded all expectations in every detail!Perfectly situated to explore or revisit the beauty of Harris and Lewis.Parking right on the doorstep. A welcome package of goodies was a lovely touch and endorsed the Hebridean welcome!Would definitely recommend!"
This is the stunning view of the Northern Lights (Aurora
10/10 Excellent
"Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. Thee ideal base location from which to explore by vehicle, bike, or on foot.
Slept like logs, all of us. Fab kitchen for eating and socialising with friends, with really good decking out back and village and loch views to the front. Gorgeous sunsets, depending on the weather.
Stay, relax, explore, enjoy... repeat.
