"The property was quiet and the staff, Adji and Muhammad and the other guy whom I can’t remember, were all excellent hosts. They made me feel welcome. Adji went the extra mile to arrange a tour for me and El Hadj, the tour guide was wonderful as well. I will definitely recommend this lace ."

All good apart from the bed

"Generally the hotel is good. Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful flowers all around.The staff were attentive and we enjoyed the food. There is direct access to a sandy beach and it’s possible to listen to the waves at night. The problem we had was the bed which had an extremely saggy mattress and after one night we both had neck and back pain and this just continued for the remaineder of our three night stay. I did mention it to reception on leaving but I believe they did not quite understand. If we had been staying for longer we would have asked to change rooms however on overhearing others conversation it seems all the mattresses were the same. Apart from this we really liked the hotel."

Good and bad

They told us that we could have the booked room for one night only as it was booked for someone else for the second two nights. They offered us a basic cabin and this is what we accepted as we did not want to take the room we had actually booked for one night and then have to move. We were unable to get through to hotels .com at the time. When I did get through the following day they took the details and said they would get back to me. I believe they did try but Wi-Fi signal and network connection was poor throughout our stay. We were not satisfied to have to stay in a basic room, however the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had a car accident 2 days before this and as a result of injuries I was unable to climb the steep stairs to the restaurant. The staff served all our meals in the bar and we are very grateful for this. the food was good. The room, though basic was comfortable and the environment is beautiful. we enjoyed our stay despite the problems. Finally we recieved an e mail from hotels.com that this booking was cancelled and asking us to call. We did try to call again but were unable to get through"
