"It’s a beautiful place and very clean. We loved EVERYTHING except for the roads and steps. It’s hard to find. Parking is tight with lots of steps to get in and around the house. It’s a great view though! "

We were greeted with a welcome basket of meats, cheeses, bread and fruit, as well as wine and beer. It was such a thoughtful gesture and perfect after a long drive from Óbidos. "The place was many kilometers with switchbacks, away from Resende, a shack with an open green front door. We could not even scale the driveway. The tires on car kept spinning. It was a frightening neighborhood. We just took the long winding road back down and headed to Fatima. It took me a few days to recover from the traumatizing experience.
