"This property was the ice cream to our trip- the property was beautifully built, maintained and allows for the best possible mountain view from the base. "Really lovely hotel - next to Daiwa shopping centre and on the main tram route (hotel will give you free tram tickets on request) The onsen facilities are extremely good and the main reason to pick this hotel over its competitors. No gym but multiple franchise gyms in the vicinity. 5 minutes away is the incredible coffee shop “Sixth or Third” (English-speaking)"

"This is a lovely new hotel, very helpful friendly staff and one of the very best Onsens we’ve experienced in Japan (this is my third trip). Really fantastic- new, clean, three pools- outstanding. The hotel is 35 minutes S of Hakuba by car and an hour by shuttle bus, and the shuttle only runs to and from once per day so without a car you don’t have many options. Omachi, the nearest town is a fairly long walk. Recommend having a rental car if you stay here. "
