"After a long search we found this little gem for a friends meetup and well worth every penny. The place is nice, on the edge of the village, but still close to the train station (about 10 min walk), has enough space to park multiple cars (we had 4 cars and still had plenty of room if needed), got a huge garden with the sauna and fruit trees, there's almost none light pollution at night, so you can see the stars well on a clear night . "Pros: - Great location right in the center of town - Nicely sized apartment - Apartment itself was very clean Cons: - The process of getting the key in the back of the building for the key lockbox and finding your way to the front wasn't fun. - The curtains let in no light. Sheer curtains would have been better - The entry to the building had a nasty smell. - Bedroom needs a chair."

Walking distance to the grocery store, bank, Biergarten and pharmacy is a huge convenience. Silvia was an excellent host and more than accomodating and very kind. We will stay here each time we visit family in the Lengfurt area. Highly recommend. Also, parking with room for two cars in the driveway in front of the house was a huge plus. "

"A very nice hotel located only a few minutes walk from the center of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and definitely worth buying or adding on as an option when you book. Parking was easy and spacious. The hotel was very clean (apart from the shower head that had a lot of mineral build up which I cleaned off myself to improve the water pressure in the shower). Located right across the road from a school but we didn't experience any noise problems...

"I stayed at the Barthels for two nights, arriving after a very long drive and immediately being able to relax. It’s clean, modern, and comfortable and in an incredible location right in the heart of the old town of Würzburg - I could see the cathedral dome right outside my window! Despite that, it wasn’t noisy and I wasn’t ever woken up to the sound of church bells chiming or street noise. There’s no parking at the hotel but there are so many car parks nearby it wasn’t a problem, and I enjoyed the walk across the Old Bridge every morning to the place I’d chosen to park. The staff were friendly and the overall vibe was great. Würzburg is a pretty city and The Barthels was the perfect base to explore it from."
