"The location is amazing! It has both stunning views of lake on one side and mountains on the other side. The room was clean, well set, fresh smell and well set. Restaurant was top notch! Their Breakfast offerings have both cold and hot stations. They had fresh fruits and fresh veggies. "Cute and modern 3 bedroom, well-equipped kitchen, spacious bath with large shower which is not common! We did arrive around 2030 and their were no bath towels, but the caretaker came immediately. The cost of linens and towels and cleaning fee should be built in to the final price but in the fine print it says you must pay in cash this extra amount. We had most of the cash needed to pay the 110E extra but we were short 3E. We asked if that would be enough but she said no. We found an ATM the next...

"Location was absolutely wonderful - so quiet and peaceful yet so many ski lifts within 30 mins drive. Gabriela and her family were wonderful hosts - we really enjoying meeting the animals (cats,dog, chickens and cows - not forgetting the gorgeous calf Gloria). The cabin was perfect and we really enjoyed the sauna. Thank you so much. I hope we get to come back some time soon."

"The cottage was ok, very small and rather outdated, but it did the job for a quick overnight stay during our Bavaria and Austria trip, would not recommend for longer stay. HOWEVER, not only are there additional guest and verbo service fees on top of the nightly charge, which is typical, but there's 70 eur cleaning fee in cash AND 10 eur per person towel and bed linen fee in cash! Each person has to bring their own bed linen and towels. And you'll receive an email with mattress and bedding...

"Pros: Clean, quiet and comfortable. Check-in over the phone was fast and efficient (be aware that you need to be able to make phone calls to check in!). Cons: Pretty pricey but it is what it is for a place within waking distance of Hallstatt village center. Internet was quite slow. If you are planning to cook, be aware that kitchen utensils are somewhat lacking compared to most apartments of this type, and there are no condiments (oil, salt etc) provided."

"This is a perfectly located spot in Hallstadt. The cafe next door is fantastic and right on the water. You are still very close walking distance to the center of the town, but thankfully not surrounded by all the crowds of people. I enjoyed exploring the town before and after all the main bus loads of people were gone. Recommend the waterfall hike that is in close proximity. Space was clean and bed/shower was nice was comfortable. THE VIEW. You cannot beat it."
