"Great location on the lake with friendly staff. However, I wouldn’t say it was the best value for money. The rooms are overdue for a facelift, and could do with more sound proofing. Additionally whilst you are lakefront there is a public path right outside your window so if you are on the ground floor you end up with the privacy curtain closed so you don’t take advantage of the wonderful view. "Well appointed, very clean and everything you would ever need for a longer stay. Unit was very spacious and nice gardens. Staff were very welcoming. Located right on lake front but wasn’t bothered by any street noise. "

"The place is fairly run down, but I understand new owners have just taken over. The reason we booked here is because it is pet friendly. A lot of motels in Taupo are not. We were only there to sleep, so on the whole the experience was not too bad. The place does some potential to be tidied up."
