"The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Ari at the front desk was great, and helped us upgrade our room to the best available (at a higher price, which was fine). The BBQ night (Wednesdays) at the restaurant was awesome. I would highly recommend anyone staying on Tahiti to consider Te Moana. It has a good price to quality ratio. And the infinity pool is wonderful. You will not be disappointed."

"We booked this hotel as it was close to the port, and we were extending our cruise for one night. When they say 'rooms available after 3', that's exactly what they mean. We arrived about 1:30, and was told repeatedly, "it'll just be about 15 minutes" .... each time I asked! We got to our room about 3:15. The ONE and only elevator serves all 8 floors (top two are the dining room and then the rooftop bar). It holds 6 people, not counting luggage (sign says 8 but no way!). Be mindful of peak times...
