"Family of 4 with 2 small children. We enjoyed the large jet tub and separate bedroom/door so that we could sleep in two different areas. Only complaint is the room is hot in the summer months (you have to leave windows open and get bugs, or use two very small fans to cool the rooms). Otherwise, it's within easy walking distance to the center of town/food and just feet away from the lake. Would definitely stay again. "

"After reading some poor reviews we had some trepidation, however, we could not have been happier with our room, it far exceeded our typical standards for accommodations in this price point. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The motel is in a great location just minutes walk from downtown Te Anau and the lake. The staff were welcoming and check in/out was easy. The wi-fi was excellent with individual dedicated routers in each room. Highly recommend this stay, it was excellent value, we would have liked to have stayed longer."

"It was great sitting on the patio watching the sunset every evening. It was so convenient being able to walk into town to eat or for a coffee. We had just completed the Routeburn track and appreciated the laundry facilities. It is tough to get a dinner reservation in Te Anau so being able to grill was a savor one night. We will be back."
