"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"Wonderful little property in Waihi Beach, amazing facilities for kids. Pool is great and a balmy 28 degrees, spa 39 degrees (very popular and always crowded!). Was great to have a woodfired pizza oven though we didn't know it was only on Wednesdays and Saturdays (disappointing but we will know for next time!).
