Best view and quite place.

very quite and dreamy place.Staff are so helpful and friendly.There are 8 cottages in total going down the hill with jungle view,just remember many stairs to take if you are down the hill.We will come back for sure :) a bit far from ubud city but there is a free shuttle service twice a day,very close to rice fields.I recommend use their car service and driver for daily tour,fair price and very friendly.

Syperbe adresse au cœur de la jungle

Magnifique séjour que nous avons passé là. Les chambres sont très belles et la salle de bain en plein air magnifique. Les repas sont servis sur la terrasse de la chambre pour apprécier les saveurs balinaises en admirant une vue plongeante sur la jungle. Personnel très serviable et prix très doux. Possibilité de massage en chambre et jolie petite piscine. Une très belle adresse. Attention en revanche à être véhiculé, car mis à part la mise à disposition 2 fois par jour d’une navetre pour Ubud, la position au calme de l’hôtel ne permet pas de sortir et de trouver facilement de quoi manger à l’extérieur. La piscine mériterait également d’être un peu chauffée. Mais le cachet de l’hôtel et le calme compensent très largement. En tous cas nous, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Nice solo, jungle escape

This place is perfect if you want a wuiet, peaceful getaway with nobody to disturb you. A nice jungle environment with extremely friendly staff and an Infinity pool that looks out into the jungle. Room massages are also available after a long day of exploring, and tge villa is within travelling distance of the Tegalalang Rice Fields.

Dejligt roligt hotel med super venlige og gode tjenere, morgenmad er ikke den bedste men de er ikke meget bedre på de andre hoteller i landet. Hotellet ligger ca. 20 min. Fra Ubud by en på scooter.

Lovely staff and generally clean facilities however I did feel it was not what was advertised and certainly does not represent the photos that are posted. The room we stayed in was tiny, the breakfast was extremely limited and the ‘resturant’ advertised was a woman cooking out of the same place that the clothes are washed. The pool was tiny compared to the photos that were shown. Although it’s in a very tranquil and beautiful spot, if you are not comfortable renting your own spot you are essentially trapped there with only 1 free drop off and pick up into Ubud each day. Although I was very comfy at night, my partner got very little sleep because of the very hard beds. All in all, this is the place for people who want complete seclusion

Amazing place a must stay

This place is absolutely amazing, just far enough out the hustle of Ubud in the a Jungle setting. The staff are amazing always helpful and show interest in your stay. I would rate thia 11 out of 10

Very peaceful ,so quiet, ,only think i could stay few days as i would get bored Great for guests who like doing nothing &need peace &quiet, a fair way from main town to go out for meal as not alot of choice at hotel very basic . Still very nice stay

Poolen gør det et besøg værd!

Sindssygt fed pool - udsigten lever fuldt ud op til billederne. Værelserne var ok - rigtig god udsigt, og fin seng og fint badeværelse. Dog var kun halvdelen af badeværelse regntæt - og det kan regne ret så voldsomt på de kanter. Myggenettet over sengen havde en del døde myg på toppen. Fair til prisen. Poolen alene gør stedet et besøg værd!

Lovely and peaceful hotel in the jungle

We had such a great time in DD Ubud Villa! Staff was so so lovely and helpful, they really make an effort. Hotel is very peaceful and only noices are coming from the jungle what was really exotic for us. It is easy to get to Ubud because hotel arrange free drop-off service for that. The view is stunning and we really enjoyed our stay at DD Ubud Villa. Only thing we didn't like so much was the humidity, it was hard to get clothes dry. But I guess that's a part of staying in the jungle :D Also room could been a bit cleaner, it was a bit dusty over the closet and so.

The staff were very polite. They had given us the wrong room at check in, but were quick to solve the problem. The outdoor bathroom wasn't as nice as I had hoped, but made for a unique experience. The jungle was beautiful. We had a wonderful view. We had been hiking the entire day before check in and found all of the stairs to be unpleasant, especially since our room was located at the very bottom. The free breakfast started at 9 am, which was the same time that the free shuttle left, so we never had our included free breakfast. This hotel just wasn't what I had expected it to be.

Great stay at DD

I had a wonderful stay here! It’s out of the craziness of Ubud, in amongst so much greenery. I loved being able to wake up early, catch ride to Tegalalang Rice Terraces for sunrise (50,000idr), before the tourist masses came. Great view from bungalow, and the pool was lovely!

Worth a stay!

Great staff, really friendly. Absolute best service. A bit noisy at night due to the jungle, and some insects around the bungalow. Spent 4 nights here, with no problem of spending the fifth.

Lodges in the forest

DD Ubud was a great experience for me and my friends. The room was comfortable with a big bed, great outdoor bathroom (we didn't experience any bugs) and the infinity pool has such a great view. A little while out of Ubud so using the free shuttle bus is necessary. All in all a great place to relax in the forest.

Very far out in the forest

The restaurant closed very early, leaving us without dinner our first night. We booked for 4 nights, but checked out after the first. We changed to a hotel in central Ubud.

Calm, Quiet Stay At DD Villa

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was very close to Ubud shopping center with a free shuttle to and from the hotel which was very helpful. They also had personal drivers that were on call in case you wanted to venture out and do other things as well. The experience of an outdoor bathroom and shower was surprisingly pleasant as well. The only thing I struggled with was that the rooms were very dark, so a little extra light would have been great but overall it was a very nice stay.

Quiet oasis close to Ubud

This is a great place for anyone wanting a quiet escape out of the hussle and bustle of Ubud. It is secluded and extremely peaceful with wonderful staff. It takes about 20 mins to ride into Ubud in a taxi or scooter.

Defiantly "glamping" type of villas

Stayed for one night on our travels from the north to south of island. Beautiful area in the peace of the jungle. Villa was not quite what we expected. Smaller than we thought. Bathroom large but constantly checking toilet for ants and bugs before using. LOTS of ants (black and red ones) in and around our villa. Room had a mosquito net above bed which was defiantly beneficial. Just felt we had to keep our suitcases and bags zipped up the whole time to prevent ants and bugs getting into our stuff. We did call room service for supper. Food good and reasonable amount of time in it getting to our room. Breakfast okay too. Eating on the balcony of villa is a nice view; but once again constantly trying to keep bugs away. It wasn't bad for a night stay... but almost felt like camping in a villa.

ここしかない！

ウブド中心から車で20分弱、とにかく、何も無いところです。森の中の日本でいうコッテージですが、坂に小屋が７つ？建ってるという感じです。決してゴージャスでないし、どちらかと言えば質素な感じです。しかしスタッフは最高！！受付は、「エ！」こんなとこ？！って感じですが、でもそこには森の中のゆったりとした空気感しか流れてません。アリ、ゲッコー、蜂、にわとり、、、、色々います。トイレにもアリが一杯きてました。でもそんなのは水で流せば問題無し！夕食は出前を取らないと食べれませんが料理は美味しかったです。12時前に着いたのですが、チェックインさせて頂き、案内して頂いたヴィラはプール横のそれ。プールもインフィニティープール。これだけで大満足。そのプールに入りながら森を眺めてるだけで頭の中はからっぽになります。 こんな環境が好きな方には一生の思い出となることでしょう。ぜひお勧めしたいです。また必ずきます、ただし今度はビールを一杯持参して！！
