Family break with children, Grandchildren and dogs
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the house was a lovely size with the added benefit of each bedroom having their own en-suite. The kitchen was the best equipped we have seen and had a lovely sized fridge/freezer. We cooked a meal and also a breakfast whilst there and the table seated all 10 of us with additional space. We used the outside area when we had a barbecue, there was a hose we could use to wash down Sandy paws. There is a parking space that sits to the rear and slightly under the house, we travelled up in our campervan, although tight at one point on the route if a car were parked, we would have got it in but decided to use on road parking then the Ness car park which was £4.90 for 24hrs (there was another space that can be used a little walk away). The house was located really close to the beach, there were some nice pubs close by (All dog friendly) there was an area of the beach that was dog friendly further along and there was a beautiful beach a short walk away that some of the family went to at 0530hrs to watch the sunrise. We had a family member travel by train, this was really easy with a ride into London, underground and then train to Teignmouth, the journey probably took the same time (if not quicker) than us driving. We had an.amazing time and Stephen & Charlotte were excellent hosts (the scones were a lovely touch).

Top notch
Fabulous house with all en suite facilities which is wonderful for a large party of mixed ages. The location is excellent, even though the parking is a bit of a nightmare! (Someone had occupied the designated extra parking space which meant a lot of walking for little legs). Lots of little extra touches made it very welcoming, all appliances were top end and the kitchen was a dream to eat/work in. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, tardis-like house!
Rooms are fabulous. Plenty of space for 12 adults. All bedrooms en-suite and a decent size with nice furniture. Cream tea was a lovely surprise. House has floorboards throughout which although rustic and clean you do hear every sound if yr not used it to. Location amazing, right near the sea front and Shaldon a delight. We did struggle with parking. Allocated parking space very tight for anything but a smart car (we scratched ours getting out) and rest had to use main car park which is a 10-15 minute walk- some uphill. Would definitely visit again.

Wonderful location and fully equipped property
A family get together with 12 adults and a 4 year old. House is lovely, every room has an ensuite. There was room at the dining table and in the lounge for all of us to be seated comfortably. Steve & Charlotte had left scones, jam and cream for afternoon tea, which was a lovely touch. Location was perfect with easy walking distance to cafes, bakery, village shop, chippy, pubs/restaurants. We had a lovely time. Thank you.

A classy and comfortable seaside stay
This charming house was full of character and super for a group of friends or family. Lovely decor with plenty of communal space as well as good sized bedrooms, with comfy beds and storage space. Such a treat to all be ensuite as well! A fantastic kitchen/diner, with everything you would need (including delicious cream tea on arrival) and an option to relax in the large lounge. We used all the parking options, even the cheap long-stay car park for the extra car, just a short walk away. Would highly recommend and hope to return one day. Thank you so much! ☺️

Lovely seaside stay
The house is wonderfully situated very close to the beach in the bustling but unassuming village of Shaldon. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and Steve was very welcoming and helpful. A slight downside of the lovely bare floorboards is that sound carried around the house. We had a wonderful week!

The Perfect House
Our family recently stayed at this amazing property, it had everything that we could have asked for and more! We were in Devon to celebrate a special birthday and the fact that we could all stay in the same property was ideal. Comfy beds and all rooms ensuite made it the perfect holiday home four us. The location is perfect literally right next to the beach and all village amenities. We would certainly recommend this property for a large group or family booking it does not disappoint. Thanks to our hosts Steve and Charlotte, we hope to return one day.

Absolutely beautiful house
We stayed here to celebrate a family birthday. There was 12 of us in total. The house was brilliant everything you need was there . It’s located right in the heart of the village close to everything so no need to drive. We used the ferry to travel over to Teignmouth which was a few minutes walk from the house. The court yard is small but there is seating for 12 people and a great BBQ. We parked the car in the long stay car park as access to parking at rear of house is very tight. Overall it was one of the nicest houses we have stayed in enjoyed by all and we will definately be returning. The owner Steve was great and always responded promptly to our questions.
