"The staff is very friendly! The location is a short distance from the beach, and in the middle of local restaurants. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is not a high-end location. The rooms, surroundings and pool are just enough. Practical and reasonable. Not intended for higher-end tastes. Great location and staff to have an understanding of the local community. Feels like a mom-and-pop business. Welcoming."

"Our group of 18 had an excellent stay the week that encompassed New Year's. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Lani and Matt are responsive and helpful, but not at all intrusive. Would highly recommend for a large group that is looking to have the whole place, like we did. We did the breakfast and dinner package every day, which worked out well from a value perspective (and was tasty and great for socializing), but in retrospect I would have had us eat dinner in town a night...

"The road up the hill is absolutely horrible even by Costa Rica standards. But the house is better than the photos. The only knock I can give it is one of the bedrooms is downstairs and you have to go up the outside stairs to reach the rest of the house and it doesn’t have hot water in the bathroom. The view is breathtaking and Silvia is an absolute sweetheart and does a great job. All in all I highly recommend it. "
