The views were amazing. Close to Smith Rocks, shopping and family yet a country feel. Check-in and check-out was easy as pie. House was well stocked with all the necessary kitchen items. The bathrooms were lovely and whole house decorated in keeping with the high desert vibe. We definitely recommend this property.

This is a great spot to stay for a trip to central Oregon. The property was clean and communication was great. Great views from the back patio for stargazing. Nice quiet neighborhood with some wildlife sightings - deer, lizards, quail - which made things especially special for the kid in our group.

Wonderful home on the Rim
This is a beautifully remodeled home with a wonderful view! The owners have the home very well stocked: spa products in the bathrooms and all the basics in the kitchen for cooking a nice meal (no running to the store for salt & pepper!).

Fantastic in Every Way
We thoroughly enjoyed this home and the hosts were exceptional. The view from the open living area and the wraparound porch is spectacular. The home was spotlessly clean and very nicely stocked, including an unusually wide array of cooking supplies and a thoughtful welcome gift. Wouldn't change a thing - highly recommended.

Beautiful, cozy cabin with amazing views!
We had a fabulous 4 night stay at this well appointed, beautifully decorated, log cabin with spectacular views! We have been to the Bend area many times and never knew this ruggedly beautiful area, hidden from the main highway, existed until now. The two bedrooms in the cabin, each with their own large en suite bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen and amazing deck with barbecue worked perfectly for our visit with another couple. We had a blast golfing two days at the gorgeous Crooked River Ranch Golf Course, located right below the cabin. We will definitely be back and hope to make this an annual trip!

Spectacular views, cozy home, lots of attention to detail!
You will not find a better home in the Terrebonne area than the Rim House! We loved our two-night stay here, and can not wait to come back! The owners have paid attention to detail, and you won't miss any of the comforts you have at home. On another note, as a person who has difficulty walking, I appreciated the accessibility of the home. I could easily navigate the spacious floor plan with my walker. Come to the Rim House, you won't be disappointed!

What a beautiful view!
The property in Terrebonne was very nice. It was comfortable, dog friendly, and well stocked. The newly remodeled bathrooms were very nice, but the queen beds were squeaky and so so comfortable. The view off the rim was beautiful!! Each morning we would watch hot air balloons while drinking our coffee. It was close to a small town so groceries and gas were available and close enough to larger towns for activities. Perfect size for a small family. Communication with the host was great and they were efficient in replying. Would definitely stay here again.

I want to live here, in this house
All in all, the best vrbo property we have inhabited. The house (every room) is beautifully appointed and immaculate, the kitchen well stocked, the deck spacious with multiple seating options, and the view just lovely. Being geezerly, we both have back issues, so it was a welcome surprise to find a bed with a supportive, but not rock-like, mattress. We rarely encounter that. In fact, I ordered that same mattress for our own home almost as soon as we walked through our front door. It’s difficult to imagine how, having chosen this place as a vacation destination, you could be disappointed by anything other than the fact that you didn’t book it for a longer stay.

Beautiful home and location for getting away from it all
The inside of the house is completely renovated and is very well appointed. The bathrooms are just luxurious. The homeowners thought of the little details such as Bath & Body Works soaps, body washes and lotions. The kitchen is well equipped. There are seasonings, oils, condiments, etc. Very easy to prepare meals at the house. The area is quiet and serene and the view from the house is just spectacular. We loved sitting on the deck for meals and relaxed in the adirondack chairs in the evening with a glass of wine. The homeowners are very responsive and friendly. They refunded our deposit on the day we checked out! Must visit Smith Rock State Park when visiting the area! Just amazing!

Gorgeous view, beautiful home, responsive owners
My son walked into this house and said "whoever lives here is so lucky!" We certainly felt very lucky to have found this place. The view was stunning. We ate all our meals on the deck and enjoyed the spectacular sunsets. We saw rabbits and hawks. The finishes to the house are beautiful: from the heated bathroom floors to rain showers, custom tile work, and farm sink. There were also thoughtful personal touches like the facial washes in each bathroom. The decor was great, too, very modern but very inviting. I loved the owls throughout the house! We spent time at the pool, tennis court, and taking short day trips to Lake Billy Chinook, Smith Rock, and digging for thunder eggs at the Richardson's Rock Ranch. The owners were very friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone traveling in the area.

Absolutely Amazing
Rim House was everything I had hoped for and more. The hosts were wonderful! They held my reservation for three years for the week of the Eclipse and honored the original price when they easily could have received much more. The house was extremely well appointed! I loved the Rachael Ray cookware, and was happy to find everything I needed in the kitchen to bake brownies and cookies, make meals and enjoy the evening. The wrap-around porch allowed for always finding a shady spot and the views were endless. Inside was spotless, beautiful and nice and cool. I stayed for a week with my hubby and eight year old. Even with the craziness of the Eclipse going on, we were able to find plenty in the area to entertain. Hubby went golfing and we all enjoyed the Deschutes River. I would highly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a centralized base for all the amazing sites to see around Crooked River. You couldn't possibly find a more comfy place to stay!

Sharing Special Place with Special People (and dog!)
My sister and I stayed in this charming home last summer. I loved it so much that I wanted to share it with my husband, son, and daughter-in-law. The views from inside the house and the spacious wrap-around deck are amazing. We love watching the colors change in the sky and on the canyon walls. Wildlife viewing included deer, pika (small rock rabbits), and various bird species. The house is very comfortable, with good beds (both queens) and nice seating options in the great room. Both bathrooms are spacious and luxurious. There is a thoughtful supply of "extras" in the kitchen and bathrooms. No worries here if you forgot the shampoo or sugar! If you like to read in bed, bring a nightlight. The lack of bedside lamps did not bother me since I use an e-reader, but son and DIL mentioned this as a possible improvement. The only inconvenience for me is that the microwave is in a cupboard above the refrigerator and I had trouble reaching it. It does leave more counter space, however, for those that like "real" cooking! We made good use of the large BBQ on the deck. On both visits I was impressed with the food and service at the nearby Sandbagger saloon. We are not golfers, but the course is beautiful to look at from the deck. It appears to be very well-maintained. Hoping to visit again when the community pool is open in the summer.

Relaxing weekend
This was our second time staying at this property. We really enjoy it for many reasons. The view is great looking over the golf course. We come down each year for a golf tournament. It’s very peaceful and quiet in this neighborhood. We enjoy watching the deer and the quail walk through the back of the property. The house is set up nicely with a big living room and big TV. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed if you choose to cook. Will be back again.
