"A very stylish and modern hotel positioned in the centre of town. Don’t pay extra for parking at the rear as there’s plenty of spaces in the market place outside the hotel. All rooms have air con which was welcome with temperatures at 32c. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it seemed very popular with local people. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate."

"Magnificent building. A chateau/Museum type of setting. So large, I literally lost my way around a couple of times. Beautiful grounds. Room was super clean and comfortable. High ceiling, large window."

"The owner was super friendly and accommodated an early check-in asy room was ready. Breakfast was good with a better selection than similar hotels. The room had air conditioning which I appreciated. I didn't try the pool or restaurant, though many people were eating there when I returned from a concert."

But what was also remarkable was that the staff was not only friendly, but also went above and beyond to help us figure out transportation during a train strike. "Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable. Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast.
