"I have stayed at 50 or more hotels in Thailand but this one is strange. It is immaculate inside and out staff are everywhere. I only saw 3 other guests there are 2 restaurants 1 daytime-we had excellent service here and food was good. we were told evening restaurant was open 6 till 11. went down at 9.15pm and found 5 or 6 staff in the building but no customers, after sitting down for 3minutes we were told the restaurant was closed!!! Then the problems begin this hotel is so far from any town...

"Nice property, but lack of maintenance and care has caused it to be spoiled some. Mildew growing in bathroom. The bed is very hard, but otherwise the room was affordable with a nice surrounding property."

Verano Beach Villa

3.5 star property

"Delightful staff. Helpful in the extreme though their English is minimal. A lovely peaceful spot right on the wide sandy beach. Not a lot around and no good restaurants but the chef at Verano Beach is pretty good so, though we had a car, we ate in the hotel every night under the stars. Large, colonial rooms all in white have all the usual amenities but they are a tiny bit tired. Didn't put us off though and we hope to return."
