"We had lovely 3 night stay ( same time as last year) but few negatives - terrible internet - very disappointing - very hard to watch Foxtel (which they provide!) Oaks need to upgrade so patrons can actually watch a movie !!!! Pool also in need of tile repair ( was in same condition as last year) But we love the location, view fantastic, staff great, friendly & helpful - we hope to get back "

"This is an older motel in need of some upgrade. For a 1 night stay I found this to be quite adequate. Staff was friendly and room was acceptable. "

"Quick overnight stay. Our room was fine for one night. No view at all . More if you wanted that. Bed comfortable and shower good. Lovely ocean view restaurant at front of place which was shut on Sundays. Great walk into town on the ocean front. Only took 15mins."

"I've stayed there several times, and the best thing is value for money and location, except for a bit of traffic noise which varies, but it is on the junction of a main road, which is a plus and a minus, I guess. Also, only a 10–12-minute walk to The Entrance shops. "

"T who runs the place is the most helpful knowledgeable person you'll come across. Makes you feel so welcome, nothing is a problem. Great facilities, it's like a house, as in it's got all you might need. I have had a most enjoyable stay. I wish them some busyness because they deserve it. Just not when I come back to stay (from Christchurch) lol. All the best, if I'm ever in the area I'm staying here again! "
