"This was a cute unit. It’s an older property so everything creeks, but part of the charm. Very very noisy people on the second floor, but that wasn’t the rental companies fault. "First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!"

Only real issue was I couldn’t get the thermostat to work, it only went to AC not heat (I don’t believe there was AC in the home? "Our family absolutely loved our stay! The house is so beautiful! The kids loved the playground. We all loved making s’mores at the fire pit. The house was big enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 9. The house is in a private wooded area with the river across the road. You can not see the neighbors once you are on the property. It was only 20 minutes away from downtown Lake George. We are definitely planning on staying at this house again next time we go on vacation. "

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very close to the Lodge at Harrisburg Lake where our extended family had a reunion. The Cottage gave us a quiet space for our family to stay, while still being close to the action. The lake is quiet and lovely, and just a short walk down the road. The incline to the lake is steep, and too difficult for anyone with ambulatory issues. Not everyone at the reunion could enjoy the lake. That is just something to keep in mind here.
