Want to book a lovely vacation near North Sea beach and dunes?
Book the Sandcastle. A nice, spacious vacation home with lots of privacy in a villa park in Noordwijk on the coast.
It's a quiet, nicely situated green luxury park. Dunes and beach close by.

House: upstairs 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed and small flat screen TV, 2 bed rooms with each 2 x 1 person beds.
Nice living rooms with large dining table, 2 couches, big flatscreen tv, stereo, and nice new kitchen with dish washer, combi-oven, water cooker, Senseo and regular coffee maker, etc. Downstairs is also a bathroom with a bath tub, toilet and double sink.
The house is freestanding with a big yard with lots of privacy, 2 terraces for your barbecue fun. There is a big wooden picnic table and some plastic garden furniture.

Surroundings: the park is between Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout in a green area in the middle of the flower fields. So April and May are lovely, everything is blossoming. The park (White Raven) is also on the edge of the dunes. You walk to the beach on a beautiful path (1 km). A great place for biking and walking.
Noordwijk is a lively coastal place with all year long activities, many restaurants and shops (also open on Sunday). Less than 10 min. Drive.
Noordwijkerhout is a cozy village with lots of shops and supermarkets. Few min drive.
Nice old cities are: Haarlem (20 min), Leiden (15 min), Amsterdam (40 min), The Hague (30 min).
Why this house? Because guests are always enthusiastic.
It's a lovely place for the whole family.

Graduation Trip
Great location, close to the sea, with restaurants and plenty of trails to walk and bike. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of four and plus our dutch friend who joined us. We really enjoyed ending the day with a glass of wine in the lovely backyard.

Excellent property near tulips, beach and beauty.
We had three full days in this beautiful property which is an easy drive to Delft, Keukenhof and the beach. We appreciated the peaceful location and well equipped and clean house and the information provided by the host was excellent.

Great family holiday!
Our family had lovely stay at the Sandcastle. It was a perfect spot to get away for the week with our two kids (9&10), and our dog. The house had plenty of space and we loved the large, private backyard and enjoyed eating our meals at the picnic table there. We were able to walk to the dune trails from the house and access the beach as well. It’s about a 1.2 mile walk to the beach from the house, but easy and beautiful. The landscape is stunning There’s also a great spot on the corner to grab some gelato when returning from the beach. Great spot to rent bikes, and wonderful trails to access the beach or take into the town of Noordwijk. We also enjoyed some local museums (Space Expo is in Noordwijk, and the kids also loved Madurodam in Den Haag), mini golf, and great restaurants in town. Dinner on the beach at De Branding was terrific! We would definitely recommend! Thanks again, Carla and Bill!

Cozy house in great location
The house is very nice and has everything you need. The interior and furniture is very comfortable and very well designed. It's only 30 minutes by foot to the beach and you can easily rent a bike close to the house. There is a lot of information available on what to do, as the host has a collection of flyers, maps and more in the house. The communication was always nice and small issues were easily solved. We had a great time and will recommend this spot to others!

Schöner Urlaub für die ganze Familie
Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön und das Ferienhaus war sehr gepflegt. Wir haben nichts vermisst und der Garten war groß und ebenfalls gepflegt. Die Parkplätze am Haus waren ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt. Da man nahezu für alle Wege das Auto benötigt oder das Fahrrad.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in einem ruhigen, gepflegten Quartier
Das Ferienhaus ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz für 4 bis 6 Personen. Der Garten mit den hohen Hecken gewährt viel Privatsphäre. Die Gegend von Noordwijk ist wunderbar, ruhig, überschaubar und mit dem Fahrrad kann die Region gut erkundet werden; ideal für erholsame Ferien. Die Föhre vor dem Hauseingang bzw. beim Autoabstellplatz ist nicht so optimal. Auf der Föhre halten sich immer Tauben auf, die mit ihren Exkrementen den Vorplatz oder das parkierte Auto verschmutzen!

Tolle Unterkunft, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, moderne Technik … selbst der Mülleimer öffnet automatisch per Sensor. :-) Kann das Haus wirklich nur empfehlen, auch die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin klappte reibungslos, die benötigten Informationen waren noch vor der Anreise übermittelt….. danke Carla! Ruim gezellig huis, meer dan compleet practisch ingericht, schoon, grote tuin, privacy, heel goed contact met verhuurder. Tip: Prachtige wandeling direct door duingebied van zo'n dik 20 minuten naar strandopgang 23, via parkeerplaats Fletcher hotel.

Für Ruhesuchende ideal
Das kleine Haus hat einen wunderbaren Garten - die Möbel im Wohnbereich sind neuwertig. Nachteil: das einzige Bad ist im EG - die Treppe nach oben zu den Schlafräumen ist sehr steil. Man kann vom Haus aus fußläufig zum ca 300 m entfernten Wald laufen - danach folgt die Dünenlandschaft und das Meer. Für Naturliebhaber ein Traum. Restaurants in der Nähe - können wir ebenfalls empfehlen. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war jederzeit freundlich.

Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub in Noordwijk
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Noordwijk verbracht. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet und verfügt über einen sehr schönen Garten. Leider mussten wir Handtücher und Bettwäsche selbst mitbringen, was für uns sehr umständlich war, da einige Mitreisende mit dem Zug bzw. Flugzeug angereist sind. Es gab auch keine Möglichkeit diese gegen ein Entgelt zu leihen. Dennoch hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub in schöner Umgebung.

Great stay overall
Our stay at the House was great overall, it was clean, very well equipped, had a great garden and the location was also very conveniant. Communication with the Host Carla was also very good and efficient! All information were sent beforehand and made the start of the vacation easy. Heating was also very good and quick and the only small drawback was the mattress in the double bed, which was very hard. But we can recommend the House and Carla and would come again!

Im Großen und Ganzen okay.
Der Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat super geklappt, das Haus war ruhig gelegen. Positive Punkte: Das Badezimmer, Waschmaschine und Trockner, die Küche (fast alles schon vorhanden, Gewürze usw.) und der Garten, die Geschäfte in der näheren Umgebung und die Möglichkeit mit dem Hund anzureisen. Negative Punkte: Das gesamte Haus war nicht unbedingt sehr gut gepflegt, wenn man die benachbarten Häuser betrachtet fehlt hier eine grundlegende Renovierung, die Bäume über den Stellplätzen (zwei) versauen das Auto (also Autoliebhaber wie ich bekommen da Bauchschmerzen). Die Einrichtung (Betten, Schränke) inklusive den Gartenmöbeln könnten mal erneuert werden. Der Strand ist 20-25 Minuten entfernt, also ohne Auto oder Fahrrad sehr unschön. Fazit: für den aktuellen Pflegezustand waren die 9 Tage zu teuer. (Ca. 1500 Euro)

Wie haben mehr erwartet
Die Umgebung in Noordwijk ist toll. Wenn es nicht regnet, kann man alles bequem mit den Rad erreichen. Und auch die Entfernung zu Amsterdam oder Den Haag ist nicht zu groß, um eines Tagesausflug zu machen. Von der Unterkunft haben wir mehr erwartet. Abgesehen von Wohn-Essbereich ist das Haus nicht sehr gemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer nur mit dem Nötigsten eingerichtet. Die Treppe nach oben und der Fußboden knarzen sehr laut, sodass unabhängig voneinander ins Bettgehen schwer fällt. Die Fenster können nur geöffnet werden, wenn es nicht regnet, da sonst der ganze Boden nass wird. Ein Pluspunkt ist das Bad. Das scheint relativ neu zu sein. Die Küche ist mit einigen Extras ausgestattet. Leider aber nicht mit ordentlichem Geschirr und guten Schneidmessern. Meistens haben wir von den großen Plastiktellern gegessen. Leider war einiges auch nicht ordentlich gereinigt, z.B. Kaffeemaschinen. Es ist gut, dass eine Waschmaschine vorhanden ist. Leider ist uns erst später aufgefallen, dass der Gummiring von innen bereits schimmelte. Carla ist eine freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Aber wir werden diese Unterkunft wohl nicht wieder besuchen.

Great stay close to lots of must see places in the Netherlands
Wir haben die Zeit in Noordwijk sehr genossen. Carla ist sicher auch selbst oft dort und hat alle für sie (und auch für uns!!) wichtigen Utensilien vor Ort : kochen, backen, grillen,alles dabei. Alles super praktisch eingerichtet und am Platz. Toller Garten, super Lage nah am Meer, mit super Stränden, Wassersport (Kiten, Surfen); tolle Städte wie Amsterdam, Haarlem, den Haag, Rotterdam,Leiden,.. auch der Flughafen Schipol super schnell zu erreichen , Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit dem Rad erreichbar. Und wenn’s mal nötig ist wie bei uns dann sorgt Carla für schnelle Hilfe! Danke nochmals!! In jedem Fall eine Reise wert!! Und ideal Fahrrad nicht vergessen, könntet ihr auch vor Ort mieten, aber ohne geht Garnicht in Den Niederlanden!!

Sehr gute strategische Lage
Eigentlich fast total perfekt.. Großer Garten.. Platz für 2 Autos. Neues tolles Badezimmer mit Super Dusche und WC. Tolle Elektrogeräte, Gasofen. Schön eingerichtetes Küchen/Ess/Wohnzimmer. Viele Steckdosen. TV und Radio CD Spieler, was wir aber nicht gebraucht haben. Superschnelles Internet... Für ältere Personen etwas problematisch, wenn sie nachts aufs WC müssen.. oben, wo die Schlafzimmer sind, gibt es kein WC. Man muss die, für deutsche Verhältnisse, doch recht steile Treppe hinunter.. Besser, man hat nichts getrunken.. Zudem ist es zwischen, von der Treppe nach oben aus gesehen, zwei linken Schlafzimmern, sehr hellhörig. Man versteht jedes Wort und auch jedes Schnarchen.. In den Ferien eigentlich meist kein wirkliches Problem, aber halt doch existent. Unter dem Strich haben wir uns, zwei Enkel, vier und sechs Jahre alt, unsere älteste Tochter, 38 Jahre alt und meine Frau und ich...63 und 64 Jahre alt, ansonsten sehr wohl gefühlt und die Tage genossen.. Ach ja... Für die E bikes gibt es keine Garage und auch keine sichere Befestigungsmöglichkeit, es sei denn, man hat eine sehr lange Kette für die dicken Kiefernstämme. Das klingt vielleicht etwas kleinlich, aber kann leider doch relavant werden.. Ich möchte aber betonen, dass wir uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt haben.
