"My wife, daughter and I stayed at The Wheatsheaf combining a work trip with some family time. We felt very well looked after at The Wheatsheaf; the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was a really good size for the three for us and we were all very comfortable. It is also a fantastic location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Lakes, with the beautiful Ingleton waterfall trail right on the doorstep. Thank you to the team! We hope we get to come back!"

Even though the heating was not on due to it supposedly being summer, as the room was a little cold we were able to turn on an electric wall heater to take the chill off the room & a blow heater in the bathroom. "We were warmly greeted by the manager, she was knowledgeable about beer choices and wine. Locals were friendly in the bar. We stayed for the 2nd time in room 4. Special room with stand alone bath in the bathroom which is separate to the bedroom with a sliding door. Lots of cobwebs in the bathroom Dinner was lovely Breakfast was very good with Gluten free bread on request. Would recommend and will definitely stay again "
