"Property and surrounding area is safe and was fine for an overnight visit to see my kid at GVSU. Check in was easy and quick as was checkout. Room was nice and clean except for dusty in the corners like it needed a deep clean, nothing that was unacceptable. There weren't many other guests during my stay but be aware that if there is someone staying in the room above you, you will hear every move they make. Breakfast was very basic but good for a quick bite. Lots of other food options nearby too....

"Registration staff were amazing! Hotel is clean and updated and the location is great! Not super impressed with the burger place there. Bar staff was not friendly. They didn't even acknowledge us when we sat down. We asked to sit elsewhere. Food was mediocre at best. Order got screwed up but the did remedy that. Overall, hotel was great! Restaurant, not so much. "

"Good stay! Staff was very friendly and whole hotel was extra clean. Pool was small, but looked inviting and was heated. Booked because I thought it was very close to downtown Holland, with its good shopping stores, but it was farther than I thought. I would book again."

"Breakfast choices were excellent, far better than other Fairfields we've stayed at. Wonderful room with cool view. The only complaint was the large group of drunk people drinking in the lobby on Saturday night (Nov 16th), could hear them all the way up to our room on 4th floor. "The rooms were huge, everything you could need in the kitchen. Breakfast had many options and choices, some of which I’ve never seen offered as a free breakfast before. (Overnight oats and chia) The staff was all wonderful and kind. Only things were the floors were so creaky in the hallways and the lobby. "Best time I had with a friend even though we kept getting lost in hotel lol. Room service was wonderful for myself but not so much for my friend. The middle of her pizza was soggy and all she really ate was the crust. Everything was very tidy and employees friendly"
