"Great location, the design of the hotel means you won’t get a river view without paying the big bucks. We had a family room which was a good size. The bed was massive with good pillows. We found the mattress too firm. Our 14 year old son (man size) has become used to being offered an inadequate pull out bed with paper thin mattress. This is common wherever we stay unfortunately for kids. The room and bathroom were very clean with a good quality shower. It had a broken fixture on the wall. But...

"The staff were excellent, polite, friendly and efficient. The room was very very good - good standard of fittings, bed extremely comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean. In a fantastic location with astonishing views out over the city and "easy" access to the castle and cathedral - I say "easy" because although it's a short distance to them, Lincoln is a very hilly place! All in all, a brilliant stay."
