The stay was just fine. Friendly staff. The hotel appears older but updated just enough to look nice and fancy. The lobby is beautiful, however the room had a very old slider, a painted over spot on the ceiling which was a previous water leak that didn't look properly fixed, and yellow caulking around the wall in shower against the nice gray newer laminate flooring. Entrance to the property is real odd, it is completely fenced off and you must push a button to gain access from your car. The check in process is daunting. When you arrive they send you an email link to fill out the registration process before you get room keys. We would not stay here again, just not for us.

It was clean and spacious. Also, it’s nice that parking wasn’t an extra charge compared to other hotels. The only thing I didn’t like was the lighting in the master room and the toilet wasn’t flushing so we had to uncover the top every time.

We really loved the resort! I regret not enjoying a lot of the amenities but they have a lot to offer. It is also very close to Universal which was nice. We were welcomed by one of their bellmen Chazz who made sure to let us know every little detail of the resort! He was great and we had a very pleasant stay!

"We really enjoyed Beachside! We loved the lazy river pool - it had a great wading ledge for my toddler and the water was heated! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with lots of options - more than just continental! Our room was very clean and we had a very pleasant check in experience."
