"The apartment itself was pretty good. Excellent bathroom and a large lounge. It would be good to have some furniture on the balcony. The surrounding area is quiet and a fair distance from any shops or restaurants. The staff, when you could get hold of them. We were staying in Nevers for the motorcycle world championship at nearby Magny Cours. Three days here is long enough."

"We enjoyed our stay in Panneçot very much and were delighted to communicate with Dominique, who was calm, practical and very helpful, thank you Dominique. The cottage is in an ideal location. Everyone slept soundly and we enjoyed tractors going past the doorstep and giving a wave in the morning. A small note - I have left enough toilet paper for the next guests. Not possible to buy in the little hamlet and with families, maybe good to err on side of generous..."

"The house is stunning, lots of space inside and well equipped. Lovely gardens, the front with a beautiful view of the river and with morning sun, the back of the property with a terrace and big table, BBQ area wonderful meadow and pool. Must return!"

"The drive out into the countryside is well worth the effort. We stayed in the two bedroom gite and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The gite is spacious and has a lovely gravel patio area in front with great views of the countryside. It was warm, so we were able to sit outside for meals, reading and watching nature and the occasional boat passing on the canal. "Accueil et communication soignés de la part de Marie Joelle. La maison offre un extérieur bucolique très reposant. L'intérieur est un peu rustique mais on s'y sent bien. Un peu a l'écart des points d'interet touristiques même si il y a de quoi s'occuper 1 semaine sans problème dans un rayon de 30mn en voiture. Belles balades au bord du canal, Chatillon, Decize, Nevers... Nous recommandons pour un séjour en famille ressourcant"

"Nice hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and I noticed as we left they were installing overhead rain showers. The only slight thing was we arrived on Sunday and the hotel restaurant was closed as was most restaurants. But we ate at a restaurant called the metro around 20 minutes walk away which was fine."

Great budget hotel

"We stayed one night on the way to the south of France. Hotel was perfect for a stopover. Very clean with lovely staff. Rooms are functional but bed was comfy and shower was hot. Excellent breakfast. We drove into Nevers and walked along the river. Filled with petrol at the local supermarket and ate at a pizza restaurant just down the road. "
