"Hotel Berg was the perfect transition hotel near the airport. It was clean and comfortable. The location is outstanding. Even though it is close to the airport, you don't hear planes taking off and landing. It is quiet. The hotel overlooks the harbor and there are paths that go along the shore and into town. Best of all is the path to Giganta's Cave, a whimsical spot that celebrates a beloved character in Icelandic children's literature. The restaurant is small but the food excellent. The shuttle to the airport is dependable and just takes a few minutes. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough!"
