The hotel is gorgeous, a French-style grand hotel by the river, beautifully built and well maintained. Very luxurious room. Excellent food in the restaurant. Close to the Imperial Palace.

Beautiful resort in Hue. Staff were well trained…every single member greeted us with “Xin Chao” ..felt very welcome. Breakfast was great with lots of choices and dinner was also very good with a surprisingly expansive wine list. We stayed at their sister property called Vedanā Lagoon Resort as well..also highly recommend.

I would not choose this property again because it’s far from the city and the airport. The property condition is fine and it’s inexpensive. However, dining and spa are pricy.

We’ve been on the road in Southeast Asia for five weeks and have stayed in many sweet hotels: none, however, was any sweeter than Vedana. Set on a lovely lagoon off the sea, it is as quiet and peaceful as a resort can be. As the rooms and villas are spread along a 3 km tree-lined lane that borders the lagoon, you can get around by electric cart or the free bikes that are available on the side of the route. The copious breakfast buffet came with the (very reasonable) room rate, and the dinner options were many and delicious. The smart and uber-helpful Cam, who was our assigned manager, took great care of us, upgrading us to a large and beautifully appointed villa, and organizing our complimentary spa treatments and our ride to the airport. Don’t miss the aviary, where we saw parrots and macaws and held month-old baby lorikeets!
