"We stayed at the La Folie Douce Hotel while Chamonix was mobbed by ultra athletes competing in the 2024 UTMB ultra marathon, so the room prices were sky-high. "Perfect location. Right outside the boarder of France and Switzerland. 30 second walk to the trams which takes you into Geneva Lake town in 10 minutes or smaller town a few stops away.
