The property had a good bedroom, with a lot of space, the bathroom was also big, the first morning however when we arrived as it was in the summer, we put both fans on but one gave out at 2 in the morning and we were sweating so much and it was way too hot as there was no AC, had to go to reception as the telephone wasnt working, went there but there was only a man doing security and told me I had to wait for someone, I was given another fan 30 mins later. If you need an air conditioner this wouldn't be ideal for you, my mum also suffers with asthma and that night she found it hard to breathe as it was too hot. They decorated the door with a banner for my mums birthday which was really nice and put balloons up in the room as I asked for it from before so thank you!! The swimming pool was hugeeeee, we loved it, they also have really good saunas and steam rooms and the people are very friendly in there for example the locals!! The gym facilities are also great with good up to date technology! Parking is not free, to which I thought it would be, but you have to pay for every day that you are there, so just a heads up. Overall had a good trip away, thank you Orida!

Overall good stay, restaurant staff and cleaners were very polite and friendly. Very peaceful settings, easy parking. Loved the golfing range and price. Room was nice overall, modernised with electrical options for do not disturb, curtains, LED mirror, mattress and pillows were divine. Cleanliness (attention to detail) lacked at times, found a popped balloon under the seat upon check in, the drawers leather was peeling away and creaked whenever you opened or closed it, no toilet scrub brush, found hair in various places. Also, internet stopped working for like an hour one evening so couldn’t watch apps on tv. Pool and steam room area were well taken care of by cleaners, sweeping the water away and replacing towels etc. but the area itself is small, limited space to sit, in the pool there is only stairs to sit on other than 4 beds, jacuzzi bubbles very powerful so couldn’t have them on for long, under the stairs was quite rusty. Gym was small with limited facilities, but ok to go to in the morning when quiet. Forgot our sunglasses in the range area, they were not handed in to reception or the range staff unfortunately, so assumed to have been taken.

Staff are excellent all very friendly. Rooms are excellent and very clean. Breakfast is amazing and sets you up for the day.

We loved staying here. It really had a mix of modern and historical. Felt like a proper English hotel and had a tub in our room!! Hard to find in Europe. There was some construction but it wasn’t impacting our experience and it’s obvious they’re reinvesting in the property and up keep which makes me know I would want to stay there again in years to come.

One night stay, quick check in and helped with parking on arrival. Great beach front location, walkable to everything but quiet. Great bar and breakfast. Bed/mattress firm and slept great. Had a really great stay.
