"This was our second time staying at Fort Ross for our winter mushroom foraging girls trip, as two young women we felt safe staying at this lodge. The staff was accommodating, and friendly they were happy to recommend trails, beaches and restaurants. We warmed up in the hot tub and sauna after a cold day in the forest. The gas fireplace in the room made the room nice and cozy perfect for curling up with a book! The lodge even offers guided mushroom hikes on their exclusive trails. We’ll be back...

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at the property. It's close to many parks so we did a lot of hiking and the kids loved exploring the numerous ocean coves. We also took some great drives up Highway 1 including the ones to get to the house. Everything was as stated/pictured including beautiful views. "It was perfect. Absolutely phenomenal views, sunsets, tide pools, wild life and total peace. We spent our days on the patio watching whales, dolphins, seals, otters and pelicans. We spent hours exploring the tide pools. We painted the views of Bufano’s peace statue. The hosts were great! They had everything you need, and everything in the house is labeled and easy to use.
