"Oh my goodness! There are no words to describe how special this place is! There are only four rooms that are perfect in every way! The views both to the sea and the surrounding countryside are unobstructed. Just after we arrived a herd of 8 stags came up to within 15 feet of the glass wall. We watched them for over a hour. They were not bothered when we stepped onto the patio or softly spoke. There are so many beautiful walks to take. We packed a picnic and spent a day exploring. It was absolutely breathtaking! "

"The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday on Lewis. The rooms are spacious, the community shop is near by, and there a many places to walk. It’s like home away from home and the perfect place to explore the isle of Lewis."

"Aw what a lovely stay we had at the bungalow. Deceptively big and laid out so well for families. Very homely. So equipped to be able to cook and the welcome basket with bread, eggs, butter, milk and weetabix was so welcome as shops aren’t easy to find and have short opening hours! We were in awe of the view and look forward to hopefully returning soon."

"My husband had always wanted to visit the Outer Hebrides and we could not have found a better location to achieve that ambition. The house is practical and well equipped with everything you could need. There are wonderful views from every aspect and you are within easy reach of many beautiful beaches and places of interest. The situation is extraordinarily quiet and peaceful but there is a shop supplying most everyday needs just a short drive away and the town of Stornoway can be reached in about 50 minutes. Christina, the owner was consistently helpful, even when I managed to lose the house key on a nearby beach! All of us, ranging in age from eleven to 74 had a wonderful stay and I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of 21st century life for a while."

Lots of things to do in the area, we were so busy we couldn't find time to spark up the hot tub, alas. All in all, a fabulous week. The agency website doesn't do sufficient justice to the property."
