"This is an excellent holiday property. You climb up to it via hairpin bends so take your time and just let the locals pass you in thier Fiat Pandas. The house is a few hunded metres out of village and such a tranquil spot. I almost dont want to give a god review to stop this place becoming to booked up for my next visit but that would be selfish. "The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. A small point that did not detract from a great week in a stand out property. Highly recommended!"

"The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "

"Very traditional Tuscan property, lovely neighbourhood, next door neighbour nice,friendly and helpful coffee shop. Home restaurant lovely and a great experience, roads are a bit windy and narrow in places, car is essential to visit Places. Church bells take a bit of getting used to."

"Lovely stay, came by train, without a car which we thought might be a bit of a gamble, but worked perfectly. Marco and Claudio were great and helpful at all times. Train service to lucca and pisa was great shops in the town all we needed. Lazy days by the pool and some trips out. Nicely rested! "

"We visited this property as our first ever family vacation with three toddlers and it was pefect! The property itself was beautiful, the town is quaint and the hostess is sweet and accomodating! The only reason i gave the neighborhood 4 stars is because i did not take into account the winding roads when planning this trip which is my own fault. "Unbelievably stunning setting. You will need to be a confident driver to manage the roads up to the house as the roads are steep and winding as you would expect in Tuscany. "The old mill is beautifully renovated with all the amenities needed for a very relaxing stay. The pool was always clean and when we had small problems with the lights the host came right away and took care of it. It's right next to a creek which is perfect for a quick bath in the morning. Elisabetta is the best host and the area around the house very beautiful. We would always come back."
