"Well off the beaten path. If your looking for a get away from the main road, city lights, traffic, car horns, police, the homeless, THiS is the place for you. It’s Not 5-star experience but it is a bit of a Shangrila and a 3-star hotel with a nice hardworking staff, The swimming pools and views of the nearby mountains are amazing. Reserve 2-3 nights or have a Family get together or celebration here. It’s ideal .finally the price is extremely economic for what you get."

"Thought the property is beautiful, it needs lots of maintenance. There were several things broken or not working properly. The property’s main attraction, the sauna and the steam room didn’t work. "We spent two nights here and enjoyed a wonderful stay. This hotel is made from a 200 year old ranch and is very beautifully restored. They have kept much of the old style construction and architecture while updating the utilities to create comfortable rooms. "The staff at this hotel are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The view is amazing, and the grounds are nicely landscaped with native plants. It is really meant to be a local holiday hotel, so the food was good not great, internet was spotty and there was no coffee available when I woke up to work on my computer in the mornings.
