"Quiet and soothing location on the foothills of ski slopes . Kitchen is very thoughtfully stocked with pots and pans , cups and even salt and pepper and soya sauce . Even toaster, kettle, coffee machine , rice cooker , fridge, microwave are all provided in the room . Views are breathtaking. There is a washing machine and even soap is provided. Good onsen hotel

"A good hotel with onsite onsen (separate public pool for male and female)as well as 3 private onsen. And they have free icecream and light supper. Service may not be tip top excellent but still good. It at the edge of the city so having a car is advisable. "

"We had a great stay at Fenix West. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious w a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful Mountain View. We especially appreciate the shuttle services to and from town, which made our trip so much more enjoyable and easy to plan. There is no Onsen in the hotel but there is one conveniently in the hotel across the street, which kind of solve the issue. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel "

"Very cozy and beautiful boutique hotel with great attentive staffs. Onsen is quite the standard. Room and general areas were very clean. A little far to walk to and from the parking area but it is only because we stayed during the snowy season. Otherwise, all perfect and will go back if i plan anything at furano again."
