The Old Vicar's House is a beautifully restored stone house with lots of character (the house suffered bomb damage in WW1 but thankfully was rebuilt in 1928). It is located in Podmelec, a traditional but vibrant village with very friendly neighbours. It is equidistant to both Most na Soci and Tolmin via safe main roads and tourist routes.
It is a perfect location for those looking for a quiet base with all the mod cons. The accommodation would suit singles, couples, or families with 1 child. In 2018, the house can accommodate up to 3 persons.
All of the original features of the house have been retained, there are exposed ceiling beams to all floors, original sanded doors and flooring throughout, a wood burning stove, a modern fitted kitchen with granite work surface, a dishwasher and a variety of quality appliances to ensure an enjoyable stay. The dining room is perfect for all meal times. There is a luxury bathroom with separate shower and bath and also a separate cloakroom upstairs.
There is a large balcony to the front for al-fresco dining or sunbathing and a side terrace adjacent to the basement utility / play room.
