"Our sink was clogged and staff tried to fix it, when they were unable to, our room was swapped. The facility is old and run down but everything is clean and everyone is very friendly. The area outside the hotel does not have much, only handful of restaurants and everything closes early or was booked so you couldn’t walk in to eat. Overall did the job. "

"Nice and clean place with a lake nearby. Staff was very accommodating even before we checked-in. We stayed in a room good for 3 people and it was cramped. The beds squeeked a lot too. For the price, we expected something better... but then we were just there for a couple nights, so it was ok. Perhaps the cabins would have been nicer for longer stays. "

"We enjoyed our three day break at Nethybridge very much in this fine old hotel. Even though it’s looking a bit tired in places, it makes up for any shortcomings with bags of character and first class, friendly and professional staff. "Negatives: There was an overwhelming damp/off smell when we first entered the apartment which I later discovered came from the vacuum cleaner when I used it. The bathroom light and hot water tap didn't work and the duvet for the sofa bed had a yellow stain on it. The "free kids club" is a run down cabin in which you pay £1 per game of pool (don't expect chalk). There are no plug sockets beside the bedroom mirror/dressing table. The bar area was always empty. Positives: The area is fantastic....
