"Paradise Found!! I loved the fact that we were close enough to Town but not in Town!! Latu and family made you feel like you were at home. If you are looking to unwind after a long day? Look no further, super clean and spacious room, shower is aways hot and the staff greets you with a smile no matter what time it maybe. Every morning there is a continental Breakfast that awaits you accompanied by Latu ever so attentive to the needs of her Guest/Family. I never thought when checking out , saying good by was like leaving family!! For anyone looking for more than just a place to stay! "The staff, including the restaurant are excellent. I can't say enough of the warm hospitality that was offered me throughout my 2 week stay. The hotel is well situated to lively nightime food options, walking along the waterfront, and close to town. The hotel is a little tired, but it also had its charm. Do yourself a favour and book one of the rooms facing the water - evenings on the patio taking in the ambiance are well worth the few extra $$ (versus a room with no balcony). Will definately go back to the Emerald. Thanks to the staff - wonderful!"
